Terms of Service — Pillow Plates

These Terms govern your use of pillowplates.store and any purchase you make from us. By placing an order, you agree to these Terms. Pillow Plates is a trading name of Pillow Plates Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 7112575). References to "we," "us," and "our" mean Pillow Plates Ltd.

1. Products & Personalisation

Our products are made to order and personalised to the registration text and options you provide. Because each item is custom-made, you are responsible for ensuring the text, spacing, and options you enter are correct before completing your order. We produce your item exactly as entered. Preview images shown on our site are mockups; final spacing and alignment are professionally adjusted before production.

2. Orders & Acceptance

Your order is an offer to purchase. A contract is formed only when we confirm your order by email. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, including where the personalisation text is offensive, unlawful, infringes a third party's rights, or where an item has been mispriced.

3. Pricing & Payment

All prices are in GBP and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Payment is taken in full at checkout. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors and to change prices at any time before you place an order.

4. Delivery

We deliver within the UK. Estimated production and delivery times are provided at checkout and are estimates, not guarantees. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. We are not liable for delays caused by carriers or events outside our reasonable control.

5. Changes, Cancellations, Returns & Refunds

Our products are personalised and made to order, so please check your registration text, spacing, and options carefully before completing your order — we produce your item exactly as entered.

Changes & cancellations. As each item is custom-made, orders can only be changed or cancelled within 3 days of the order date. After 3 days your item has entered production and can no longer be amended or cancelled. To request a change within this window, contact us as soon as possible at support@pillowplates.store with your order number.

Change of mind. Because our products are personalised to your specification, they are exempt from the standard 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and cannot be returned or refunded for change of mind.

Faulty, damaged, or incorrect items. This does not affect your legal rights. If your item arrives faulty, damaged, or not as described — or if we have made an error in producing it (for example, the text differs from what you submitted) — contact us within 14 days of delivery at support@pillowplates.store with clear photos of the issue. We will repair, replace, or refund the item as required under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. We cannot accept responsibility for errors in the text, spacing, or options you submitted at checkout.

6. Intellectual Property

All site content, designs, images, and branding are owned by Pillow Plates Ltd and may not be copied or reused without our permission. You confirm that you have the right to use any text or registration you submit and that it does not infringe the rights of any third party.

7. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law. Subject to that, our total liability arising from or in connection with any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Our products are decorative cushions intended for use as soft furnishings only.

8. Privacy

We handle your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy [link] and applicable UK data protection law (UK GDPR).

9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
